My dog has the tendency to eat too fast. I like this bowl because the blue bone that prohibits him from eating too fast actually swivels which keeps him from just turning over the bowl out of frustration. He would turn the bowl over with the inset bought at pet stores.

My frenchie bull puppy eats like she's never had a bite of food in her life lol. Since torsion is such a big issue with her breed she is supposed to eat her meals more slowly and this has been a great help with that. She doesn't love that she has to work harder for her food, but I like that it stimulates her mind while she eats, too. Where it used to take her 3 minutes to eat it now takes her 10 or so. You can fit a good amount of food in it, about a plastic solo cups worth. It's a sturdy plastic so it should last for a while, fortunately my puppy isn't a chewer so that's not a worry for me.
